Award for a doctoral student from our Doctoral School in the 20th edition of the L'Oréal-UNESCO program "For Women and Science"
We are pleased to inform you that Adrianna Musiał, MSc, PhD student at the National Research Institute of Animal Production, studying at our Doctoral School, is among the six laureates of the 20th edition of the L'Oréal-UNESCO Program "For Women and Science". Adrianna received a scholarship award in the MSc category for scientific research entitled: "Identification of the origin of male and female founding lines of Polish native horse breeds based on targeted resequencing of the Y chromosome and the variability of the mitochondrial DNA – mtDNA". The jury appreciated the PhD student's achievements as well as her passion and commitment to research and development of science. The program partners – the Polish UNESCO Committee, the Ministry of Education and Science and the Polish Academy of Sciences – will support the further development of the laureate's scientific career.
